Dr. Caroline Schmidt is a psychotherapist and licensed professional counselor. She helps people who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders and relationship problems. She uses a strength-based approach in psychotherapy, helping her clients understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors interact to affect their well-being. She helps them develop emotional intelligence so they are better able to cope with the stressors in their lives.

Dr. Caroline received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She completed her internship at Northwestern University Counseling and Psychological Services. She has also acquired clinical experience at Marquette University, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Aurora Psychiatric Hospital. She serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Dr. Caroline treats adults and adolescents, providing both individual and couples therapy. Her office is located in Milwaukee at the corner of Highway 45 and Good Hope Road. She offers appointments Monday through Thursday, and she accepts most health insurance plans. Dr. Caroline is a member of the American Psychological Association.
